Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a fast-food restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, supervising and supporting team members, coordinating shift operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements. This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency and achieving business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate daily outlet operations and staff activities.
2. Allocate duties, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training and support.
3. Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
4. Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
5. Assist with staff rostering and ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
6. Monitor inventory levels, receive stock, and minimise wastage.
7. Supervise cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
8. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and company procedures.
9. Prepare basic operational and sales reports and report issues to management.

Required qualification and experience

1. Certificate III/IV in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or a related field (desirable).
2. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or fast-food operations.
3. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
4. Strong communication, customer service, and team management skills.
5. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
6. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
7. Food Safety Supervisor certification.
