About Us
HC Station is a well-established hair salon operated by QUICKCUT CARINDALE PTY LTD. We are currently expanding operations at our Hyperdome branch and are seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional team on a full-time basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine hair styling preferences and requirements
- Advise on hair care, products, and suitable hairstyles
- Shampoo, condition, and treat hair and scalp
- Cut, trim, taper, and style hair using scissors, clippers, and razors
- Perform colouring, bleaching, tinting, and chemical treatments
- Straighten and perm hair
- Set and style hair for special occasions
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and comply with health and safety regulations
- Recommend and sell hair care products
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time experience as a Hairdresser
- Certificate III in Hairdressing AND Certificate III in Barbering (or higher)
- Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and chemical treatments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment
