We’re partnering with a well-established insurance brokerage looking to hire an
Insurance Broker to support and grow a portfolio across commercial and SME clients.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can manage clients, liaise with underwriters, and run with a portfolio independently while supporting a Senior Account Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role across both new business and existing client management, with a strong focus on service, retention, and growth.
You’ll:
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Handle renewals, endorsements, and new business placements
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts
• Liaise directly with clients, insurers, and underwriters
• Prepare submissions, reports, and insurance recommendations
• Negotiate terms and placement outcomes with insurers
• Support claims processes and advocate for clients when required
• Manage invoicing, debtor follow-ups, and financial administration
• Maintain accurate records across internal systems
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in insurance broking or general insurance
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and placement
• RG146 compliant (Tier 1 preferred)
• Ability to manage a portfolio and work autonomously
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail across documentation and compliance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
