Clark Rubber Penrith is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy retail store in Penrith, NSW.

Clark Rubber is a well-established Australian retail brand specializing in pools, foam, rubber and cleaning products, serving a wide range of customers including households, tradespeople and commercial clients.

Our Penrith store offers an extensive product range including pool supplies and chemicals, foam and rubber products, flooring solutions, custom-cut foam, and various home and lifestyle products.

This role is ideal for an experienced retail professional who can manage store operations, lead a team, and drive strong sales performance while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the overall daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient business performance
  2. Lead, supervise, and train retail staff to maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
  3. Monitor sales performance, implement sales strategies, and drive revenue growth
  4. Manage inventory control, stock ordering, and merchandising to ensure optimal product availability
  5. Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising
  6. Handle customer enquiries, product recommendations, and complaint resolution professionally
  7. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and company procedures
  8. Prepare sales reports, monitor KPIs, and provide regular performance updates to management
  9. Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels and product availability
  10. Implement in-store promotional activities
  11. Ensure accurate cash handling, POS management, and financial reconciliation

Skills and Experience

  1. Proven experience in retail management or retail supervisory role
  2. Strong leadership and staff management skills
  3. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage store performance
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Experience in stock control, merchandising, and retail operations
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage competing priorities
  7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  8. Experience within hardware, pool supplies, building materials, or specialty retail will be highly regarded.
