Jord International Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Manager for a full time position at our St Leonards office.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping JordProxa’s technology led growth across the energy transition and resources sectors.
As our Study Manager, you will lead the delivery of high quality process and test work studies that underpin JordProxa’s differentiated solutions in battery chemicals, minerals processing, and water treatment. These studies are critical to securing future projects and demonstrating our technical and commercial value to customers.
You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, sales, and innovation, collaborating with global teams to turn early stage opportunities into executable projects. This is a role for someone who thrives on technical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and delivering high-impact work that directly influences business growth.
What you’ll do
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of studies that form the foundation of JordProxa’s project pipeline
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and R&D teams to develop integrated, high-quality study outcomes
- Manage multiple studies concurrently, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are met to a high standard
- Develop compelling study proposals and support early-stage client engagement and solution development
- Present study outcomes to customers, clearly articulating technical and commercial value
- Oversee preparation of key deliverables including process flowsheets, mass balances, and cost estimates
- Evaluate process options and recommend optimal solutions based on performance, cost, and risk
- Support conversion of studies into awarded projects by working closely with the Sales team
- Ensure studies are delivered in line with Jord’s safety, quality, and risk frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing study methodologies and tools
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10+ years’ experience delivering studies, proposals, or projects within minerals processing, battery chemicals, or water treatment
- Strong understanding of relevant process technologies (e.g. crystallisation, evaporation, precipitation, water/effluent treatment)
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary work across global teams
- Commercial acumen and ability to align technical solutions with customer and business outcomes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on value creation and continuous improvement
