Supply & Distribution Manager

Hofmann Engineering has a vacancy available for a Supply & Distribution Manager at our Bassendean workshop.

Tasks Include:

1. Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain and distribution strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet the company’s business objectives.
2. Oversee procurement, inventory management and distribution planning, conduct inventory audits, and maintain optimal stock levels for stable production and order fulfilment.
3. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, oversee transportation fleet operation and scheduling, and optimize transport routes.
4. Resolve supply chain disruptions, establish emergency plans, and continuously improve delivery performance.
5. Lead warehouse and transport teams, set performance indicators, provide training, and foster safety and continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with sales, transportation and other teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
7. Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and implement improvement measures.
8. Monitor supplier performance, conduct vendor evaluations, and drive supplier development and relationship management.
9. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, and implement risk management frameworks across the supply chain.

This role will also demand flexibility and a “can-do” attitude. Successful applicants will be highly motivated, have good communications skills and keen to work as a flexible team. Additional skills and qualifications will be highly regarded. Training in workplace safety will be an ongoing process.
