About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and support IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves maintaining servers, networks, and system environments, ensuring performance, security, and operational reliability.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can troubleshoot technical issues, manage system configurations, and support ongoing IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform system backups and recovery procedures
- Implement and maintain security measures across systems
- Maintain technical documentation and system records
- Support system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and operational requirements
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time work experience
- Experience with server management, networking, and system administration
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and network protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Understanding of system security and backup processes
- Strong documentation and organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
