Your Role

As a Teacher Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with classroom activities, including lesson preparation and resource organisation
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including students with additional needs. 
  • Monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organising educational materials.

Mandatory Requirements

  • A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
