Established in 2007, ECM Engineering is an industry leader in the wireless telecommunication, looking to hire full-time Telecommunications Linesworkers.
Reporting to the team leader of the rigging crew you will be proactively assisting in the rigging operations on telecommunications installation sites.
Duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting drawings and sites to successfully complete works to a high standard
- Assessing installation requirements, planning and performing installations, relocation, and repair of telecommunications equipment, feeder/ cabling / antennae, and associated ancillary equipment
- Installation, relocation, and removal of tower/pole mounted equipment as per design
- Testing and maintenance of telecommunications equipment mounted on high structures, including radio towers
- Fault-finding
- Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items
- Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes
- Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
- Following all Client and Industry specifications, standards and HSE guidelines
- Relevant documentation on completions of works including photographic documentation as required
- Ensuring all paperwork is job coded and is correctly submitted to head office in a timely manner
- Co-ordinating with other contractors when required
A successful candidate will have:
- Telecommunications experience in the area of construction, install & commissioning with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with 4G and 5G equipment
- An unwavering commitment to safe work practices
- An ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- An ability to problem solve

For the right candidates we are offering a salary package of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum and the opportunity to be part of a great team.
