VBS Timeslot Coordinator
We’re seeking an experienced VBS Timeslot Coordinator to join our client's dynamic logistics operations team. The role is responsible for managing the effective scheduling and utilisation of vehicle booking system (VBS) timeslots across allocated terminals. This role ensures the efficient flow of containers, compliance with road and terminal regulations, and the delivery of exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and book all timeslots at allocated terminal(s).
- Ensure all equipment is utilised efficiently to meet KPIs.
- Plan container movements in line with permitted weights and road restrictions.
- Slot all import containers prior to delivery.
- Slot all export containers before time-up.
- Maintain current vessel schedules and slot accordingly.
- Ensure containers are PRA’d or cleared and EDO is received prior to shift change.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in VBS wharf time-slotting or terminal operations.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of container logistics, VBS systems and road transport regulations.
- Excellent communication and client-service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in 1-Stop, Container Chain, Freight Tracker, Fleet Locate and MS Office.
