Job Description

AEC Noosa is seeking an experienced Emergency & General Practice Veterinary Director to join our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility on a 3-month contract while our Veterinary Director is on leave. This is a rare opportunity for a senior veterinarian to step into a leadership role in one of Australia’s most sought-after coastal locations.

The role offers a unique mix of general practice work with additional emergency shifts, providing variety and balance. If you’re on a working holiday visa, this could be the perfect opportunity to combine career progression with travel and lifestyle.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings

  • 3+ years’ veterinary experience, ideally in emergency and critical care
  • Current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland, or eligibility to register
  • A compassionate, patient-first approach to veterinary care
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues
  • A genuine commitment to outstanding client and patient service
