Full-Time Waitperson – Indian Restaurant

Location: Cairns QLD 4870

Salary: $69,000 + superannuation

Employment: Full Time- 38 Hours/ Week

Spicy Bite Edge Hill is seeking an experienced Full-Time Waitperson to join our vibrant Indian Restaurant in Edge Hill, QLD 4870. We pride ourselves on delivering a lively dining experience, delicious meals, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

·Greet customers and escort them to their tables.

·Present menus, explain specials, and offer suggestions based on customer preferences.

·Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.

·Serve meals and drinks promptly and in accordance with service standards.

·Check with customers to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues.

·Clear tables, reset for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

·Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system.

·Assist in stock rotation and ensure condiments, cutlery, and service stations are fully stocked.

·Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

·AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality, or equivalent (ANZSCO Skill Level 4).

·Relevant industry experience in a restaurant, café, or bar environment.

·Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.

·Excellent communication and customer service skills.

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

·Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
