POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to play a crucial role in our mission to deliver exceptional tile installation services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' projects are completed to the highest standards, meeting their design specifications and requirements. This is a full time position working 38 hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Tile Installation: Perform wall and floor tile installations in accordance with design plans and project specifications.
2. surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for tile installation by ensuring they are clean, smooth, and level. This may involve removing old tiles, patching surfaces, and applying appropriate adhesives.
3. Tile Cutting: Measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit around obstacles, corners, and edges as necessary.
4. Grouting and Finishing: Apply grout and other finishing materials to ensure a clean and polished appearance of installed tiles.
5. Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
7. Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, designers, and other team members to coordinate and execute tiling projects efficiently.
8. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply.
2. Minimum AQF Certificate Ill in Wall and Floor Tiling or relevant OR Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
3. Proficiency in all aspects of tile installation, including cutting, grouting, and finishing.
4. Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
6. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in the construction and tiling industry.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Physical fitness and stamina for the demands of the role.
9. Car Drivers License
