About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join the team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll play a hands-on role across day-to-day operations while leading and coordinating a team of around 8 staff. This is a great role for someone who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with being on the floor and actively involved in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide excellent service to walk-in trade customers
  • Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate receivables, stock put-away, and container unloading
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular stocktakes
  • Monitor team productivity and drive continuous improvement
  • Step in for the Warehouse Manager when required
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment

About You

  • Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of distribution and warehouse operations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with staff and customers
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a "can-do" attitude
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email)
  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • MR licence (desirable, not essential)
