Welder/ Boilermaker

ICBM SERVICES PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Welder and/or Boilermaker for our client's construction industry (residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces) across NSW, WA in Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.

Title: Welder and/or Boilermaker, Full- time position

Salary: A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus super

Work Location: In person.

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:

Requirements

1. Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Engineering-Fabrication Trade/(Welding)
2. Proven experience as Welder and/or Metal Fabricator for at least 2 years.
3. Knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
5. Physical stamina and strength.
6. Attention to detail and precision.
7. Good communication and teamwork skills.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Welder Responsibilities Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various welding techniques

1. Inspect and test welds for quality and compliance
2. Repair or replace damaged metal parts
3. Maintain welding equipment and follow safety procedures
4. Work closely with fabricators and engineers to complete projects on time

Boilermaker Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and equipment

1. Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
2. Perform welding, cutting, and bending for metal assemblies
3. Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with standards
4. Conduct maintenance and repairs on metal structures
